Why Join? – Because you CAN make a difference!

Members of the Southern Colorado Clean Cities (SoCO CC) Coalition affirm their commitment to reducing our nation’s dependence on foreign oil, improving air quality, and promoting economic security by supporting our work through membership dues. The SoCO CC offers several membership levels that appeal to a variety of organizations looking to utilize membership for different purposes, but all membership levels contribute greatly to supporting our day-to-day operations at the Southern Colorado Clean Cities Coalition.

Associate and Individual Memberships

Individual and Associate members support the energy, economic, and environmental security of our nation, and in return receive access to educational resources on alternative fuels and a vast stakeholder network that crosses industries, including: fuel providers, vehicle manufacturers, utilities, municipal governments, transit agencies, trade organizations, and technical experts from the Department of Energy and national labs. Additionally, members receive periodic updates to inform them on market developments, policy changes, and funding announcements.

Associate members are invited to attend quarterly stakeholder meetings and gain access to alternative fuel vehicle demos or test drives.  The organization name will also be listed on the SoCO CC website to show their commitment to petroleum reduction.

Statewide Memberships

Statewide Members have access to all of the Associate Member benefits of the SoCO CC, but they also become Associate Members with the Northern Colorado Clean Cities Coalition and Denver Metro Clean Cities Coalition at a discounted rate. This membership shows support for all three coalitions in Colorado and provides organizations that conduct business throughout the state the opportunity to access networks outside of southern Colorado. Statewide members can access services from any of the three coalitions, advertise to a much larger stakeholder group, and are kept current on statewide developments.

Silver and Gold Partnerships

Silver and Gold partnerships showcase their commitment to reducing petroleum consumption by helping to ensure the long-term sustainability of our mission and programs. In return,  SoCO CC provides a platform of benefits that can be tailored to the partner’s goals. The SoCO CC will help Gold and Diamond level members organize press events, advertise to the SoCO CC networks, target specific markets, and leverage relationships in the industry.

Please contact Jon Hunter, the Southern Colorado Clean Cities Coordinator, at or 303-847-0271 with membership inquiries.
